Moini is a Techno-Savvy, Outcome Focused and Innovative Business Leader with 20+ Years of IT Industry ExperienceAs Global Offerings Leader and Director for Strategic Markets at Kyndryl, Moini drives the Custom Applications practice within the Applications, Data & AI Practice spearheading practice strategy and execution across consulting, modernization, migration, observability and AMS for both custom-built and commercial off-the-shelf applications. Moini also heads the Application Center of Excellence (AppCOE) for Strategic Markets, shaping innovation and accelerating value creation for clients and go-to-market teams across 40+ Countries and integrating the global strategy across strategic marketsAs an innovative thought leader, Moini pioneered the design and development of the Customer Journey Explorer (CJE) platform and was instrumental in creating the Journey MetroMaps framework, customer persona empathy mapping, and industry-specific points of view. The CJE platform has since been adopted globally by Kyndryl Consult as a key enabler for opportunity discovery through co-creation with customers.Moini held several strategic leadership roles at IBM, where he was instrumental in shaping multi-cloud, FinOps, and cloud enablement initiatives. As Global Delivery Director and Architect for IBM’s Multi-Cloud Management Platform (MCMP), he led the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practice and drove the design of the FinOps Service, including the foundational Brokerage Cost & Asset Management (BCAM) application now part of the Kyndryl Bridge Platform.Moini played a pivotal role in IBM’s acquisition of Gravitant in 2015 as Chief Delivery Integration Architect, building global delivery across India, Europe, and the U.S. Earlier, as a Senior Technical Program Manager in IBM’s NGD team, he led the Fall Plan and Cloud Burst program, certifying professionals across major cloud platforms.Over his 17-year IBM career, he held key leadership and architect roles, earning the Best of IBM Honoree Award (2016), five OTAAs, and four Eminence & Excellence Awards. At Kyndryl, he received the Trail Blazer Award (2023) for leadership in Strategic Markets.Moini is also an AI patent holder (US-11••••86-B2), a published thought leader in Data & AI, and a contributor to six externally published Data & AI whitepapers through the IBM Academy of Technology. He holds an M.Tech in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences, Pilani and a B.Tech from JNTU, Hyderabad.
