I am a Mechanical engineering graduate with 5 years of experience in Engineering Change Management and SAP Variant Configuration – G3500 Medium CAT Gas Engines.• Responsible for Maintaining Product structure and Product Catalogue for G3500 – Medium CAT Gas Engines.• Initiating and Following Up various PLM related activities (such as CN workflow creation) which supports Product Health Maintenance.• Analyzing Various Configuration Related issues and implement necessary Permanent Corrective Actions (PCA) in Product Structure and Product Catalogue.• Periodic monitoring of Product structure changes and Maintain Up-to-date Data in BOM consist of Product Structure in PLM (Teamcenter).• Responsible for Virtual Design Reviews & Audits (VDRA) of G3500 Medium CAT Gas engines build in Caterpillar Engine facility-Lafayette, California.• Responsible for Periodic Monitoring of Engine Orders, to ensure appropriate BOM callout.• Periodic Monitoring of Order Placement Mechanism and ensure proper BOM callout when appropriate Attachment Options are selected by customers.• Review and Fix Assembly & Manufacturing difficulties encountered in Assembly line by working with Various Design Control teams.• Responsible to organize different Engine sub teams during New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and understand the need and work towards the Common Goal.• As a Green Belt, supported a Six Sigma Project which was created to ensure Material Availability of High lead time Purchase level parts at any given point of time. This project helps to reduce additional shipment cost encountered when a purchase level part is ordered lately.• Possess Good Analytical Skills with strong technical Knowledge.
