Hello! I\'m Mohan Kumar Sarangi, a Senior Engineer specializing in loT Systems SW Power Optimization at Qualcomm India. With an M.Tech in Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, I bring a wealth of experience in optimizing power efficiency and performance in cutting-edge technology. Also, recently I completed my MBA in Finance Management from NMIMS in 2024. In my current role at Qualcomm, I\'m dedicated to power optimization for Industrial loT trackers, which encompass sensors, GPS, WIFI, modem, and E2E cloud software. My responsibilities also include power measurement and modeling for various communication technologies, including satellite, LTE-M, and NB-IoT. Experienced in advanced tools like NI-DAQ, Keysight DC power analyzer, thermal chambers, 5G ORAN Radio Unit, oscilloscpes. My background extends to my previous role at Intel India Pvt. Ltd, where I honed my skills as a Power and Performance Engineer. There, I conducted performance/watt analysis on Intel chips and played a key role in benchmarking Intel Client Platforms. Worked on Intel Heterogeneous core architecture. Prior to that, I served as a Software Engineer at Intel, where I took ownership of Key Performance Indices for 5G Base Station servers. My work involved identifying best practices, executing measurements, and monitoring performance values in areas like CPU, memory, and networking. I also led the Power Management domain, ensuring comprehensive validation coverage for power states. Beyond my professional roles, I\'ve contributed to the academic field with publications in exploring topics such as outage in energy transfer using massive antenna arrays. Also, I am venturing new areas in AL and ML and how these are getting implemented in field of semiconductor. Some of the AI/ML areas I have worked on are python coding for AI/ML, calculus for ML and various tools to explore AI and ML using scikit learn, etc.
