ABOUT MOHANDAS JEYAKUMAR

As an enthusiastic advocate for student success and academic excellence, I have dedicated my time and efforts to enhancing the educational experience for my peers. My journey in student leadership has been both rewarding and transformative, equipping me with valuable skills and insights.Over the past year, I have been an Assistant Manager at Subway and before that I have proudly served as Vice President Education, where I have been at the forefront of championing student needs, implementing effective policies, and fostering a collaborative environment between students and faculty. My role has involved active participation in various committees, strategic planning, and driving initiatives that enhance academic support and resources.In addition to my role as Vice President Education, I have also been a Course Representative, Student Ambassador, and Library Ambassador. These positions have allowed me to engage with a diverse student body, represent their interests, and ensure their voices are heard. As a Course Representative, I facilitated communication between students and faculty, addressing academic concerns and contributing to curriculum improvements. My role as a Student Ambassador involved promoting the university to prospective students, guiding them through their decision-making process, and sharing my own positive experiences. As a Library Ambassador, I worked to enhance the library services, ensuring students had access to the resources they needed for academic success.Currently, I am pursuing a BSc (Hons) in Accountancy and Finance, where I am developing a strong foundation in financial principles, analytical skills, and strategic thinking. These academic pursuits complement my leadership roles, providing me with a well-rounded perspective on both the academic and administrative aspects of education.These experiences have honed my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. I am passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive educational environment where every student can thrive. My commitment to student advocacy and my proactive approach to addressing challenges have consistently driven me to achieve meaningful outcomes.I look forward to opportunities where I can contribute my skills, experience, and passion to make a positive impact.
