Review and analyze client quotations and technical specifications for closure products and Pig Alert pressure vessel components. • Expert in reading and interpreting international standards such as: ASME Section Division 1 and Division 2, PD 5500, ASME B16.5 (Flange Design), ASME B18.1 & B18.2 (Bolts and Nuts) • Tailor solutions to meet both client-specific requirements and applicable industry standards. • Interpret customer requirements accurately by studying all relevant client specifications and documentation. Share best practices, design concepts, and industry standards to encourage ongoing learning and improvement. Lead the team by implementing creative ideas and emerging technology to improve Design solutions. • Perform wall thickness calculations for flanges. • Determine appropriate forging sizes for closures and flanged components. • Develop detailed technical design data for closures and Pig Alert components. • Prepare material data sheets for forged components, flanges, and closure doors based on project requirements. • Create manufacturing drawings and 3D models using Autodesk Inventor (Flange, hinge, brackets etc) • Develop GA (General Arrangement) drawings for closure assemblies. • Generate SAP Bill of Materials (BOM) for ordering and manufacturing purposes. • Use Autodesk Vault for managing CAD data and maintaining version control throughout the project lifecycle.
