ABOUT MOHAMMED SEEDAT

I am currently teaching sports business and marketing at the University Campus of Football Business (UCFB) ‍. UCFB delivers university degrees from its London and Manchester campuses. If you are interested in a career in the football and sports industry, please visit In your first year of study you will learn about the business management of football. Modules such as football business management, sports marketing, understanding football fans and customers and integrated marketing communications are studied in-depth. Basic sports business management theories and concepts are covered to understand the football industry as a whole. During the first year of study, students are encouraged to engage in extra curriculum activities and work experience opportunities to apply their knowledge in the sports industry. The second year of study focusses on the practical skills needed for sports marketing. Modules such as event marketing, international football business and digital marketing are studied with a focus on graduate skills for the future economy. Research methods is the final module which prepares students to carry out academic research on a topic they are passionate about. Final year is bridging the knowledge and industry experience to the global sports market. Students are challenged to critically analyse the sports industry with a focus on completing the final year research project. Aside teaching, i get people active and social.
