Half the output of the second largest gold field in the world passed through the Standard Bank on its way to London. Responsibilities: Extensive knowledge on various testing methodologies like SIT, Regression testing, Sanity testing, Smoke testing, and Functional testing. Participated in the migration project from the HOGAN banking system to the ATLAS banking system for Asian countries. Conducted thorough testing of various payment transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and bill payments, to verify accurate processing, error handling, and user interface functionality. Validated core banking features such as account management, transaction history, and balance calculations, ensuring that all functions operated correctly according to the specified requirements. Tested integration points between payment systems and other banking modules (e.g, loan processing, fraud detection) to ensure seamless data flow and system interactions. Identified, documented, and reported defects and inconsistencies in the payment systems using defect tracking tools (e.g, JIRA), collaborating with development teams for resolution and verification.
