ABOUT MOHAMMED ZAID ALI
I am a B.Tech student in Electronics and Communication Engineering at ZHCET, AMU, with a focused interest in embedded systems, robotics, digital system design, and PCB development. Currently, I work as an Embedded Systems Intern at an environmental parameters monitoring company, where I research, implement, and interface advanced sensors to analyze water quality using protocols like Modbus/RS485 and storage solutions such as EEPROM. I also design PCBs, work with Nextion and GLCD displays, and integrate multiple communication protocols to build scalable, real-time monitoring systems.Alongside embedded hardware, I am developing skills in digital system design using Verilog. Through HDLBits, I’ve solved over 100 problems covering combinational and sequential circuits, finite state machines, and debugging digital logic. I also use Xilinx Vivado for FPGA design, building a foundation in hardware description languages, verification, and hardware-software co-design.Over the past two years, I’ve built a strong base in microcontroller programming, digital logic, and embedded development through competitive projects, technical clubs, and research-based prototyping. My hands-on experience spans platforms such as ESP32, STM32, and Arduino, as well as tools like EasyEDA, LTSpice, Fusion 360, and Vivado. My technical focus lies in hardware-software co-design, sensor fusion, digital logic verification, and low-level communication protocols. From fine-tuning a PID-controlled line-following robot to designing multi-sensor environmental PCBs, or from writing HDL for sequential circuits to implementing real-time control, I am constantly exploring the intersection between research and real-world application.Key highlights of my journey include:Keynote Speaker at the International Workshop on RC Cars, Glocal University (2025)Runner-Up at Ideathon (2024)Outstanding Delegate at Econovation-MUN (2025)Notable Projects:ESP32-based Line Following Robot with Encoder Feedback and SPIFFSCustom ESP32 PCB DesignLow-Noise, Radiation-Resilient DC–DC Converter PCB DesignStellar Motion and Spectral Analysis using MATLABHDLBits Digital Logic Design Practice (100+ Verilog problems solved)Beyond engineering, I’m an avid reader of both fiction and non-fiction, which I believe sharpens creativity, communication, and problem-solving.I’m always open to connecting with fellow engineers, researchers, and developers who share a curiosity for building innovative embedded systems, digital architectures, and hardware-driven solutions.
