Reports To: Senior Structural Engineer / Project ManagerKey Responsibilities:Structural Design & Analysis: Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems using software (e.g, AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.Pro, ETABS).Technical Documentation: Prepare technical drawings, reports, and specifications for structural projects, ensuring compliance with local codes and standards.Project Support: Collaborate with senior engineers to develop structural solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.Field Inspections: Participate in site visits to assess project progress, quality, and compliance with design specifications.Calculations & Modeling: Perform basic structural calculations for structures, including beams, columns, and foundations.Coordination: Work closely with other disciplines (architects, MEP engineers, contractors) to ensure the integration of structural elements in overall project designs.Problem-Solving: Assist in troubleshooting structural issues that arise during the construction phase and propose appropriate solutions.Compliance: Ensure that all designs adhere to relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.Continuous Learning: Stay updated with advancements in structural engineering technology, software, and industry best practices.Technical Skills:Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit).Familiarity with structural analysis tools (STAAD.Pro, ETABS).Basic understanding of building codes and standards (e.g, ACI, AISC, Eurocodes).
