ABOUT MOHAMMED SAMEEYUDDEEN
Master’s student in Systems Engineering for Manufacturing, currently working in an R&D position at ABB Corporate Research Center, Mannheim. My work centres on deterministic software-defined industrial networking, focusing on the integration of Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) and OPC UA FX to advance low latency, reliable communication systems for industrial automation. I apply C, Python, and Bash for real-time network orchestration and configuration, with Linux based performance validation across PLCs, drives, and industrial switches. In parallel, I have a solid foundation in PLC programming (IEC 61131-3) and experience with HMI and SCADA systems for process visualization and control, enabling a deeper understanding of the interface between Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) systems. My interests intersect industrial communication, automation, and intelligent networking, with particular attention to developing self configuring, adaptive TSN frameworks that enhance synchronization and system resilience in manufacturing environments.
