Worked with DCL, DDL, DML Scripts and established relationships between tables using Primary Keys & Foreign Keys. Wrote complex SQL queries using joins, sub queries and correlated sub queries to retrieve data from the database. Used SQL SERVER AGENT to automate the process of rebuilding indexes at regular interval for better performance. Used SQL Profiler and Index Tuning Wizard for tracing slow running queries and stored procedures. Designed SSIS Packages to transfer data from flat files to SQL Server using Visual Studio. Created DTS Package, DTS Import/Export for transferring data from Heterogeneous Database (Text format data) to SQL Server. Identified issues and developed a procedure for correcting the problem which resulted in the improved quality of critical tables by eliminating the possibility of entering duplicate data in a Data Warehouse.
