Principal Scientist, Car-t (Cell Therapy) Analytical Development
Mar 2022 — Present
Perform method development, qualification, regular testing and transfer (identity, strength/quantification, stability indicating), investigative analytical characterization and biophysical forensic support of cellular drug product, viral vector (e.g, lentiviral vector, AAV, and gene editing materials), customized raw materials/ancillary materials, excipients, process and formulation buffers using a variety of analytical technologies, such as spectroscopic methods (e.g, FT-IR and Raman), biophysical and forensic analytical characterization tools for particulate analysis (e.g, FlowCAM/Microscopic/Nanoparticle DLS analytics), and liquid and gas chromatography coupled with different detectors (e.g, UV/Fluorescence/CAD/MALS), GC-FID. • Partner with QC raw material, Process Development, Manufacturing Science and Technology, and Analytical Operation functions to analyze samples in Bio Safety Level-2 (BSL-2) lab environment, perform regular sample and investigational analysis activities, and transfer methods. • Develop and implement novel analytical technologies capable of characterizing vectors, raw materials/ancillary materials to improve understanding of critical process media, reagent, and buffer components. • Document experiments in an Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN). Author and review technical documents in an electronic document control system (e.g, Benchling and Veeva Quality Docs). • Participate in regulatory submissions and present data to peers and in cross-functional meetings.
