Highly competent with Programming Languages: Java, SQL, Foxpro, XAML, HTML, PHP and CSS. • Competent at creating, maintaining and utilising databases, stored procedures and triggers.• Experience of working in an ITIL environment dealing with issues, change requests and managing time efficiently.• Knowledge of SSRS reporting.• Support – I regularly offer technical support to friends and family. I am proficient in finding problems and solving issues in a quick and efficient manner whilst ensuring that an issue is fixed first time and fixed to a standard where it doesn’t occur again. My work at Reapit has taught me many different analytical and support related techniques such as gathering information from the user, analysing the data and extracting useful information, problem solving, implementing solutions and managing my own work load.• Analytical & Problem Solving Skills – Able to analyse a situation and vary my output depending on the situation.• Software Development – Created a fare calculating application whilst I was conducting my industrial placement. This desktop Java application calculated a variety of outputs from some inputs. E.g. an input would be taken and the equivalent price would be output for the journey. There were also additional features added to this once the basic application was created. These included adding and subtracting a certain percentage (for discounts and surcharges) and also a reverse price to mileage calculator that took the price as an input and output the mileage. This feature helped to the organisation to diagnose any issues of overcharging. • Web Development – I have constructed websites for both training purposes and commercially. I have experience in HTML CSS and some JavaScript experience. I have created a JavaScript application that worked alongside a Google Map in a webpage. This allowed a user to select a pick up and drop off point and calculated the fare and showed a route for the journey.
