I am a dedicated environmental scientist currently pursuing a Master of Science in Environmental Metrology and Policy at Georgetown University. With a focus on sustainability and policy development, I’m working as an intern with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of the Chief Financial Officer, where I consolidate data and conduct research for high-level decision-making. During my undergraduate years at the University of Florida, I was heavily involved on campus with Student Government and the University\'s Office of Sustainability. I currently am doing research of PFAS within baby formula at Georgetown University.

In my internship with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), I had the unique opportunity to engage with various aspects of environmental policy, communication and the federal budget process. Throughout the internship, I was able to attend House and Senate committee meetings, gaining first hand insight into the legislative process surrounding the EPA’s budget. A significant portion of my internship involved creating a structured video database for the EPA. After recording and editing each committee meeting into concise clips, I systematically tagged every video with 4 to 8 relevant topics, such as IRA, CWA, or TSACA. Additionally, I marked each video with precise timestamps and identified the speakers to ensure accuracy and context. These details were then organized into a database that I developed, allowing for easy retrieval and reference. The database was designed to be user-friendly, with color coordinated topics, dates of meetings, and individual delegations, making it a valuable tool for future reference by the EPA Administrator and other team members.Currently, I processed over 12 hours of meeting footage, creating 129 individual clips, each no longer than 5 minutes. These clips were carefully edited and integrated into a database for efficient future use.
