ABOUT MOHAMMAD SEMNANI
Mohammad is an accomplished water resources engineer with 10 years of relevant experience. He has specialized in designing natural channels and erosion control, geomorphological studies, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and municipal infrastructure design. He has participated in a variety of field programs including geomorphic surveys, sediment sampling, velocity and discharge measurements, and water quality sampling. Mohammad has led many channel restoration design projects, which include the development of the design criteria, tender packages, quantity takeoffs and construction cost estimates. He is proficient in GIS software for mapping and analysis, as well as the AutoCAD Civil 3D for use in design and drafting. Mohammad is proficient in HEC-RAS and MIKEFLOOD for hydraulic modelling (1D and 2D). Mohammad is well versed in the design process having developed several detailed design packages, obtained permits from many different regulatory bodies and undertaken construction and post-construction monitoring.
