ABOUT MOHAMMAD HABIBULLAH PULOK

Mohammad Pulok is a Health Economist with research interests in equity in health and healthcare, evaluation of health policies and healthcare financing. Currently, he is a Senior Analyst at Alberta Health Services where he leads research projects on economic evaluation of public health interventions in Alberta. Mohammad is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Health Sciences, University of Calgary. His recent appointments include Senior Health Policy Researcher at the Maritime SPOR SUPPORT Unit and Postdoctoral fellow at Dalhousie University in Halifax. Mohammad completed his PhD in Health Economics from the University of Technology Sydney by collaborating with the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare. He was also a visiting PhD student at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (IHPME), the University of Toronto. He has published 38 peer-reviewed articles to date and his publications have appeared in leading field and interdisciplinary journals including the European Journal of Health Economics, Social Science & Medicine, Nicotine & Tobacco Research, Canadian Journal of Public Health, Age & Ageing, Health Policy, etc.
