About Mohammad Behzadi
I am a dedicated AI/ML researcher with over 4 years of experience in developing and implementing cutting-edge algorithms for various applications. Currently, I am a PhD candidate in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Connecticut. I also hold an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Connecticut and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.My expertise includes programming in Python, MATLAB, and JavaScript, as well as utilizing deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras. I have a strong track record of delivering impactful research contributions, with publications in top-tier conferences and journals. My PhD thesis has focused on developing conceptual design space exploration tools for engineering systems, utilizing various machine learning and deep learning algorithms, along with different optimization techniques, to generate design concepts for both component-level and system-level engineering systems. Additionally, I am interested in the application of AI in biomedical fields, including human-computer interaction and biomedical imaging.In my role as a Research Collaborator at RTX Technology Research Center, I designed and implemented an optimization algorithm for collision-free spatial packaging of interconnected engineering systems, resulting in the most comprehensive SPI2 design tool to date. At Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks Corporation, I developed an automatic 3D CAD model generation script for XDesign, enhancing the testing process and dataset creation for CAD command prediction problems.Beyond my technical skills, I have demonstrated leadership as the Vice President of the Iranian Cultural Organization of UConn and as a Senator of the Graduate Student Senate. I also actively review for several prestigious journals and conferences.I am passionate about leveraging my expertise in machine learning and deep learning to tackle complex engineering and biomedical challenges. I am eager to contribute to innovative projects and collaborate with professionals in these fields
