   I recently started my Cybersecurity Internship at Eyeqdotnet, Mangalore, where I am gaining hands-on exposure to core cybersecurity concepts and real-world security practices. This internship focuses on understanding how digital systems, networks, and data are protected against modern cyber threats.During this internship, I am learning key cybersecurity principles such as the CIA Triad (Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability), security framework (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting), and the roles of Red, Blue, and Purple Teams in identifying and mitigating security risks. I am also developing awareness of cyber threats, attack methodologies, and defensive strategies used to safeguard systems and sensitive information.The internship emphasizes cybersecurity awareness, secure online practices, and cryptography fundamentals, including encryption, decryption, plain text, and cipher text. Through research-based tasks and practical learning, I am understanding the consequences of cyberattacks such as data breaches, ransomware, identity theft, and system disruptions.This internship at Eyeqdotnet is helping me build a strong foundation in cybersecurity, improve my analytical and security-oriented thinking, and prepare for real-world challenges in protecting digital infrastructure. I look forward to applying this knowledge in practical scenarios and continuing to grow professionally in the field of cybersecurity.
