Since joining Sarasin in 2017, I’ve been leading the consolidation of its global trading operations. As the Head of Trading & Portfolio Implementation, I manage a team of traders and portfolio implementation specialists, driving global execution across multiple asset classes including equities, systematic quant strategies, fixed income, FX, and derivatives. I oversee more than 150 segregated portfolios and funds, each with distinct ethical and regulatory requirements, ensuring efficient and seamless portfolio management.My role has expanded to include key areas of front-office investment operations, project delivery, and change management. I’ve pioneered the automation of processes such as order entry and decision-making, which has significantly improved team performance, streamlined workflows, and boosted profitability. I’ve also led major initiatives such as Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA), trade and transaction reporting, fund launches, portfolio construction tools, and share class hedging strategies. Additionally, I’ve championed technology improvements, including the implementation of dashboards and data visualization tools like Tableau to enhance decision-making.As a senior leader, I actively contribute to the Investment Risk Committee, advising on liquidity management and collaborating closely with the risk team to refine trading models. My work on the Operational Risk Committee has resulted in significant reductions in error rates across the firm. I also serve on the CASS Committee, ensuring compliance and safeguarding client assets.
