ABOUT MOHAMMAD MUTHAHIR

I am a Licensed Professional Engineer with progressive experience in hydraulic system design for off-highway and heavy equipment. My work centers on developing reliable, safe, and performance-driven hydraulic systems that meet demanding field conditions and regulatory expectations.At Buhler Versatile, I contributed to full-system hydraulic design for MFWD tractor platforms, including brake systems, steering circuits, auxiliary functions, accumulator integration, and tube routing optimization. I have led redesign efforts involving service and trailer brake valves, validated pilot ratios and pressure limits, reviewed ISO 1219 schematic compliance, and performed FEA assessments on mounting structures to ensure durability under real-world loading.Earlier, while supporting OEM programs such as equipment for JLG Industries, I developed master-model hydraulic assemblies in Creo, designed cylinders and manifolds, and integrated dynamic hose routing within boom lifts, scissor lifts, and telehandlers. My early aerospace exposure strengthened my understanding of load paths, configuration control, and engineering within regulated environments.With graduate foundations in solid mechanics, fracture mechanics, and finite element methods, I use tools such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, ANSYS, and Nastran to guide design validation and failure-risk mitigation.I approach engineering with a systems mindset balancing performance, manufacturability, safety, serviceability, and long-term reliability.
