About Mohammad Khorrami
With over a decade of experience, I have led interdisciplinary projects spanning renewable energy systems, land subsidence monitoring, dam safety, and induced seismicity. I have collaborated with national laboratories, federal agencies, and global research networks to translate scientific insights into actionable policy and engineering solutions.My work focuses on the resilience of infrastructure under climate and anthropogenic stresses. I bridge satellite geodesy, geotechnical engineering, and artificial intelligence to better understand and mitigate risks across the energy–water–infrastructure nexus.I earned my Ph.D. in Geosciences from Virginia Tech and an M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Florida. My research has been featured in Nature journals (Nature Cities, Nature Sustainability, and Scientific Reports), AGU Eos, UNESCO, and the United Nations University, as well as media outlets including The Washington Post, reflecting a commitment to advancing resilient and sustainable development worldwide.
