The Electronic Shipping Tools (eOrder) is a major Business-to-Business (B2B) application that provides a customized, user-friendly front-end for SAP back-end systems. This project was an e-commerce internet-based development project where the client was moving an existing manual paper process to an internet based application employing Java technology. After implementation of the system, Fujitsu was engaged in providing the support and enhancements of the system. • Performed the full range of activities in the Development Life Cycle (SDLC)• Supports System Test and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, and monitors defects raised to ensure functional specifications are being followed• Performing regression testing to verify there has been no degradation in functionality from previously validated software.• Tracked and prioritized software bugs reported in the defect tracking system.• As a key member of a testing team, ensured a smooth transition for Canada Post for the major enhancements of a large Internet and Desktop shipping application. Participated in stress testing and prepared high-level test documents and conducted them.• Resolved technical issues and defects for customers and worked closely with the Development team on those defects contributing to the collaboration between work groups and simplifying the process.• Reviewed Functional Specification documents and estimate number of new test cases and effort required to create them• Defined, created, verified and edited test data to be used during Functional and System Testing
