About Mohammad Fuaad Khan

Born to a family of all engineers, I was the first to graduate as an Electronics Engg. Although completing masters and bachelors from the very renowned BITS Pilani & Aligarh Muslim University (A.M.U) respectively, still my life has not been a piece of cake. It has been similar to a signal which fluctuates between the crests & troughs. But, the only learning I rely on is that ‘Time, be it good or bad, has a habit to change itself’Currently, I\'m working in CISCO India Systems Pvt Ltd. after pursuing my MBA from BITS Pilani.Before enrolling in MBA, I was working in the RTL Designing and Verification Department for LOGIC FRUIT TECHNOLOGIES PVT. LTD. My designation there was R&D Engineer(FPGA). I was responsible for designing digital processing systems using FPGAs for the clients at RTL Design Level based on the project requirements using HDLs like VHDL(VHSIC HDL) as well as Verilog. In addition to that, integrating and testing the design for its functionality prior to delivering the circuit board/ IP to the client.I was involved in projects like Designing Local Interconnect Network (LIN) 2.2 IP. It’s a protocol used for data communication pertaining to automotive infotainment. Besides, I had also modified the single-frequency I2C IP thus developed to operate at different frequency eventually converting it into a multi-frequency IP. I had to work on tools like Xilinx 14.7 ISE, ModelSIM 14.4 during the project & burn the code thus developed on the FPGA of series Kintex7.Prior to this, I have worked as Associate System Engineer in IBM India Pvt. Ltd. in Automation Testing department. My role there was to carry out Functional and Regression Testing, find & report the defects present at the front-end and provide Quality Assurance to the client prior to sign-off.
