   Based on Das Island, which is one of the largest offshore petrochemical oil/gas LNG/LPG production installations in the world. My job scope includes complete supervision, training and evaluation of approximately one hundred personnel. This includes overseeing recruitment policies ensuring company standards are met and working methods used by contractors on any plant shutdowns are in accordance to company requirements. Daily work scope includes complete supervision of riggers, crane-age and lifting operations, inspections, safety audits, daily and monthly meetings regarding various operational requirements and procedures, attending Task Risk Assessment/ FRA (formal Risk Assessment) meetings and review & approve lifting plan / rigging studies for both company and sub-contractors. Reporting directly to the operations manager it is my responsibility to oversee the permit to work system within my department ensuring that all work is carried out with a pro-active attitude towards health, environment safety and quality. Responsible for the co-ordination and movement of all heavy equipment and loads delivered by sea to Das Island. Liable for budget control, mobilization and de-mobilization of hire plant/ crane-age and ensuring that the servicing of all plant and crane-age within the department is carried out on a regular basis.Based on Das Island which is a large LNG/LPG production installation in the Arabian Gulf. I am responsible for the on-site supervision of approximately 60 riggers and 4 crane operators who are assigned to carry out general maintenance and upkeep of the plant, working to L.O.L.E.R. standards. All works carried out with a pro-active attitude towards Health, Safety and the Environment.
