ABOUT MUHAMMAD ANS
At The Faraday Institution, our team is pioneering advancements in lithium-ion battery technology, with a keen focus on Ni-rich materials for high-energy applications. With a PhD in Engineering from Warwick University, my expertise lies in enhancing cathode capacity performance, particularly at elevated voltages, which is critical for next-generation electric vehicles. My recent research, published in ACS Energy Letters, delves into the degradation mechanisms of Ni-rich NMC//graphite pouch cells, employing advanced techniques like operando X-ray diffraction to elucidate the impact of oxygen loss. This work is complemented by comprehensive training in electrochemical cell construction and data analysis, which solidifies our understanding and contributes to the battery community\'s pursuit of optimized performance and longevity.
