Design and Development of a Cement 3D Printer with Custom Extruder and Motion Control SystemDesigned and built a cement 3D printer from scratch for printing cement structures.Created all components in Ansys spaceclaim and SolidWorks for precise fabrication.Optimized the Y-axis plate to reduce weight and improve motor efficiency.Configured Marlin firmware, including stepper motor settings, motion parameters, extrusion control, and homing sequences.Implemented board configuration and custom Marlin coding for smooth operation.Designed an extruder motor system connected to the mixer motor, using Arduino to regulate voltage for stable performance.Programmed Arduino for motor control and optimized power distribution, as the board’s output was insufficient.
