Be part of the Senior Management Team and participate in discussions related to leading the organization towards operational excellence.Directly responsible for the management and oversight of the programs department, which includes ensuring CRA compliance, that appropriate systems are in place to facilitate effective program delivery, and that clear accountabilities within all operational levels are followed.Stay informed on emerging issues related to the charitable sector in Canada, and participate in formal and informal sessions to educate the community and to advocate for improvements with the Government.Responsible for the planning and reporting (strategic and operational) of all aspects related to quality of project proposals and accompanying documentation, data collection, conduction of monitoring, evaluation and learning information.Develop effective reporting tools regarding international programs; keep Executive Director and Board of Directors informed of the progress of projects.Work with Executive Director to cultivate humanitarian funding and develop contacts with government/ donors/international agencies.Represent HCI in the sector and NGO consortiums.

ABOUT MOHAMED OSMAN NOORANI
I am the Deputy Executive Director and Director of Programs at Human Concern International (HCI). I have previously worked with the Youth Livelihoods team at The MasterCard Foundation, and also have field experience in Kenya with smallholder farmers and the rural community. I have completed a Master\'s degree in the field of Globalization and International Development from University of Ottawa. I am a recipient of the Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS), a grant given to students who best communicate the impact their thesis research can make to academia. My Master\'s thesis revolves around understanding rural youth career aspirations and their interest in working as a farmer, and promoting farming as a business (agricultural entrepreneurship) among rural youth.
