ABOUT MOHAMED FADEL SHADY

I am a Staff Systems engineer at Qualcomm, where I work on the design and the modeling of the physical layer of various WiFi 802.11ax and 802.11be Qualcomm\'s chips. I was a research assistant at the University of Texas at Dallas where I worked on wireless multiuser networks and got my PhD degree in Electrical Engineering. I also joined PoLTE incorporation as an Algorithm Engineer Intern to work on user positioning over LTE networks. Before my PhD, I joined Intel Wireless Communications Lab, where I worked on Multi-RAT systems. Before that, I got my M.Sc. in Communication and Information Technology from Nile University, where I was a research assistant and worked on interference management in MIMO relay networks.For 13+ years, my whole professional life has revolved around wireless communication, signal processing, and information theory spanning a wide range of contributions from proposing and proofing theories, to the work of standards, and products. My solid background comes from: 7+ years of industrial experience, 15 graduate courses, self-educating, studying, and contributing in 1 US Patents, 10 research presentations, and 14 scholarly articles published in top journals and conferences in the field of Wireless Communications and Signal Processing.I have been a reliable effective member in all the teams I have worked with, giving my all contributing to team goals. I have had the privilege of working with many teams from different countries, cultures and backgrounds, which has built my leadership and personal skills.Personal skills: leadership skills, continuous learning, commitment and passion about my field of work, working individually and within a team, innovation, multi-tasking, thriving under stress and efficiently meeting deadlines.
