ABOUT MOHAMED SAMI MEHIAOUI
Lecturer and applied researcher in Entrepreneurship, with over 6 years’ experience designing and delivering entrepreneurship education, innovation programmes, and enterprise initiatives across higher education, accelerators, and international networks. My work sits at the intersection of teaching, research, and ecosystem development, supporting students, start-ups, and early-career professionals to translate ideas into real-world impact.I currently teach entrepreneurship and related subjects at Coventry University, where I embed experiential and practice-based learning into postgraduate teaching. Alongside teaching, I have contributed to research and externally funded projects in entrepreneurship, innovation, and youth leadership, and remain committed to building a strong publication trajectory.Previously, I coordinated the Hult Prize Accelerator, supporting 21 global student ventures and a network of 200+ mentors and investors, and co-founded the PACT Network, delivering employability and entrepreneurship programmes for over 500 early-career professionals. These roles strengthened my ability to connect academic knowledge with practice and stakeholder engagement.I also bring a practitioner’s perspective as a co-founder of entrepreneurial ventures, with experience in venture development, pitching, and mentoring founders through innovation programmes. I am particularly motivated by roles that combine high-quality teaching, impactful research, and external engagement.
