ABOUT MOHAMED SALAH HUSSEIN

I am an Assistant Professor of Physics and Nuclear Science & Engineering with nearly 23 years of international teaching experience and a strong research–teaching nexus in reactor and radiation physics. My work integrates applied research, mathematical modelling, and scientific computing to address real‑world nuclear engineering challenges.Research Intrest: I have done my Postdoctorate in Nuclear Engineering and Teaching Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at RMC. My research interests are: • Design Reactor core using Simulation Codes SMRs,• Nuclear security,• Radiation Field Simulation codes (MCNP6 and Serpent codes), • Reactor Physics, • Nuclear Forensic and Non-Proliferation, Teaching interests:I have almost 23 years of teaching experience gained worldwide; I skillfully design diverse curricula and teach various disciplines. I have a proven record of teaching physics for different aged students, from high school to undergraduate university levels, and supervising undergraduate and graduate students. I am endowed with other expertise in teaching international and multicultural students while utilizing diverse teaching skills and techniques.
