IMPORT & EXPORT Checking and confirming the shipping bill checklist, draft B/L (Bill of Lading) and draft certificates.Tracking all import and export shipments from the shipping line.Coordinating with clients regarding import and export, CHA (Customs House Agent), and freight forwarders. Providing Export & Import Form-13 to the terminal. Releasing CRO to customers and booking slots in vessel operations. Filing EGM (Export General Manifest) and IGM (Import General Manifest) as per the import-export shipments. We will release the import delivery order and coordinate with agents, customers, and vessel operators at the other end. Also, handling overseas import-export bookings. INVENTORY Manage inventory control, maintenance, and repair of containers for NVOCC operations.Oversee inventory and supply chain management in accordance with company guidelines.Maintain accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts.Monitor and update container tracking daily by collecting inventory reports from all branch offices and agent offices.Follow up with container depots across Chennai (3 locations in Tamil Nadu) to obtain container estimates and damage photographs. Analyze repair estimates received and approve cost-effective repair jobs daily.Quote the imports team of all branches and agent offices to collect damage charges from consignees.Coordinate consignee-requested joint surveys and analyze reports to approve final damage costs.Prepare and submit collection details in Statement of Account (SOA) to the principal accounts team, specifying charges to be recovered from agents for damage claims and expenses.Generate and file financial inventory reports; review reports monthly with management.Maintain inventory reports for handling 17 principal boxes from other agent principals.
