ABOUT MOHAMED I.
I graduated in civil engineering from Anna University in India, and started my career on a landmark project in the country at the time, overseen by national leadership. A year later, I moved to the UAE into a completely new environment, over a 15-year period, I delivered 100+ turnkey multi-industry projects and partnered with top developers, designers, consultants, and clients on high-profile corporate projects.As I progressed into project management, I realised early on that my engineering degree alone was no longer enough. This led me to pursue a Master’s degree at the University of Lincoln in the UK. During my studies, my research on green building certifications led me to interview experienced leaders, helping me focus on gaining practical knowledge, earning relevant accreditations, and defining my ambitions.Over time, I learned that degrees are important, but their impact is limited without real understanding and application. Now, after 15 years in the UAE, I’ve moved to the UK again, embracing discomfort, curiosity, and new perspectives over what feels familiar.I’m driven by curiosity, passion, and ambition to create healthy work environments, design spaces that enhance occupant experiences, and explore how AI can help us prioritize human and planetary health.Always learning.
