ABOUT MOHAMED FARAH
I’m a Costing & Risk Analyst at E.ON, working within Energy Markets with a focus on policy costs and the data that supports pricing and planning decisions across electricity and gas.My role sits between data, commercial teams, and industry policy. I work with large datasets to support cost forecasting, risk analysis, and reporting, using tools such as Snowflake SQL, Excel, Power BI, and Python. A key part of my work is making complex cost drivers and assumptions clear and usable for non-technical stakeholders. Before this, I worked as a Data Analyst at Serco, where I supported operational teams through reporting, dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis, often working with sensitive and time-critical data. I hold a Mechanical Engineering degree from Aston University, which has given me a strong analytical foundation and a structured approach to problem-solving.
