Understand requirements of the UOP requisition(s)-Coordinate with Equipment or Discipline Engineer as needed -Source and assign local inspector(s)-Coordinate with UOP inspecting Engineers when required -Make sure Supplier ITP’s and Procedures have been approved -Expedite suppliers for missing procedures and requires revisions -Plan, Schedule, Facilitate PIM if not already completed-Plan, Schedule, Facilitate weekly quality meetings with suppliers -Review and act on weekly inspection reports from local contract inspectors -Help resolve technical issues and NCR’s -Attend weekly internal quality meetings (with complete updates), and with VG if requested -Participate in review of supplier data books for QA/QC, Inspection, Testing content -Coordinate and approve Inspection Release, when order complete, ready to ship -Welding Quality Management • Develop, review, and maintain Welding Quality Plans (WQP), ITPs, and inspection procedures. • Ensure compliance with ASME, AWS, API, ISO, CSA, and client-specific standards. • Verify that Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and Welder Performance Qualifications (WPQ) are properly qualified and documented. • Monitor welding consumables storage, handling, and traceability-Supplier / Vendor Quality • Review and approve vendor welding documents (WPS, PQR, WPQ, inspection reports). • Conduct vendor audits focusing on welding processes and welder qualifications. • Ensure supplier welding quality aligns with Honeywell’s specifications and client requirements-Quality Documentation • Review and compile Manufacturing Data Records (MDRs)/ Quality Dossiers. • Ensure completeness of material traceability (MTRs, heat numbers, certificates). • Approve and maintain welding logs, repair reports, and deviation requests. • Verify proper filing of calibration certificates for welding machines and NDT instruments.
