About Mohamad Sayegh

As Vice President of Planning and Engineering for FedEx Express Latin America and the Caribbean, my role is to optimize our regional operations to accelerate growth, achieve efficiency and offer outstanding service to customers. Part of this role includes implementing sustainable processes and systems within our logistics operations, such as rolling out our electric vehicle fleets across Latin America and the Caribbean and deploying tools that enable our customers and partners to be part of this change. Sustainability is a topic I am particularly passionate about, and I am dedicated to helping us get closer to our FedEx global of being carbon neutral by 2040. My over three-decade-long career with FedEx has taken me around the world, from Memphis to the Middle East, to Africa and India and now Latin America. These experiences have given me the privilege of working with people from various cultures, backgrounds and abilities, instilling a deep appreciation for diverse perspectives and the importance of fostering a collaborative environment.

   Oversee Planning and Engineering team and ground and air operations across 50 countries and territories in Latin America and the Caribbean- Manage supply chain, facilities planning, fleet renewals and maintenance, and analytics- Responsible for a fleet of over vehicles and 33 aircraft- Oversee the sustainability strategy and execution across the region, including analytics to measure carbon emissions, sustainability across facilities, and electric vehicle deployment.
