About Moez Ghumman
My previous projects involved developing dual-drug loaded nanoparticles for controlled release of antifibrotic agents for inhalation delivery in IPF treatment, as well as assisting in the utilizing scaffold-based three-dimensional tumor/tissue models to study efficacy of various drug delivery systems. In industry, I have worked with a team of researchers and laboratory technicians in overcoming obstacles encountered in the formulation process as well as implementing cGMP in lab-scale manufacturing of several different types of dosage forms. In the past, I have also operated artificial human patient simulators to demonstrate pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic effects of drugs on heart failure and the outcome of different drug therapies. I believe that constructing a communicative and companionable environment, whether it is in an academic or industrial research setting, leads to effective performance of duties.
