As Finance Manager, I am heading a tight-knit group of analysts who are actively working together to drive the business forward. Our team is essential in providing meaningful insights and acting as a trusted advisor to our Senior Executive Team. My duties and responsibilities include all sales controlling and financial planning & analysis tasks, including the preparation of reporting that accurately measures the company’s KPIs. Together with the VP of Sales, I am accountable for the Business Group’s P&L, while monitoring ongoing business performance against strategic and financial objectives. • Delivering monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packages in a timely and accurate way, including in-depth review of variance, trend, and mix/price-analysis, as well as forecast and budget submissions • Facilitating data-driven decision making through development and implementation of financial dashboards, stronger financial analysis, and meaningful KPIs • Working closely with other departments such as Pricing, Sales, Customer Service, Marketing and HR to embed financial stewardship into the organization, while also helping these functions understand how they impact and drive the financial results • Promoting and implementing the automation and standardization of various reporting processes and methods used for decision making through new digital tools • Attracting and developing talent with the right capabilities and motivation to build an agile and risk-taking team that utilizes feedback from business partners to improve its capabilities
