Responsible for managing the external and statutory reporting processes for the twelve legal entities of the GEHC in Canada, including pension governance and regulatory reporting. The scope includes managing the business DB Pension plan (>$500M Assets), monthly and quarterly US GAAP reporting, annual statutory reporting (IFRS), and income tax submissions, along with supporting internal / external audits as required. Additionally, making sure the adherence to Canadian GAAP, US GAAP, GE General Accounting Procedures, Income Tax Act, SOX 404 and other controllership and compliance policies and procedures. Primary focus on ASC 606 Revenue recognition, ASC 715 DB pension plan and ASC 740.
