I am a Chartered Accountant and have also cleared the US CPA examination.I have a post qualification experience of 6+ years.Currently, I am working with FIS Global (earlier SunGard) in the Legal Entity Accounting team as a Team Lead. I am responsible for calculation and recording the recharge of share based compensation payments from the parent entity to its subsidiaries, review and accounting of inter-company dividend, capital contributions, loan and interest transactions. Also, currently, I am working with the management to finalize the approach on allocating the facility cost among the entities sharing it. I also have an experience of supervising a three-person team to lead them in a positive environment to manage critical deliverables with minimum TAT along with grooming freshers for their development.Earlier, I was in the Stat. Reporting team and was in charge of the audits of UK, Belgium and South Africa legal entities and getting the review done from stakeholders and senior leadership. Daily tasks involved to own and manage financial and statutory reporting of assigned legal entities which included the full financial audit cycle like preparation of financial statements, review of trial balances, preparation and disclosure of notes to accounts; to assist in providing details for forecast of the assigned legal entities and to present management with business level comments on the variances between actual v/s forecast and have monthly, quarterly and annual calls with stakeholders on variance analysis; to ensure proper collaboration with other teams viz. P2P, O2C, Segment accounting, legal and taxes for effectively completing the audit. Other key projects comprised going concern assessment, legal entity rationalization, impairment assessment, assisted in US tax reporting of legal entities.During the initial 2 years of my professional career, I worked as an SAP FICO consultant in Tata Consultancy Services.My articleship experience comprised of statutory audit, tax audit and VAT audit of various clients ranging from Private Limited Companies to Proprietors.
