Design and oversee the electrical & SCADA portion of a 200MW utility-scale solar plants in VA and GA. • Developed a detailed equipment specification for MV equipment such as transformer, switchgear, MV and DC cables, sectionalizing cabinets and DC combiner. • Performed various Electrical studies using ETAP such as load flow, short circuit, DC and AC arc flash, protective coordination and Harmonic analysis. • Performed Cable ampacity studies for several different projects using ETAP and CYMCAP software to ensure that underground cables do not exceed the cable temperature rating. • Created energy model for solar farms using PVSYST. • Designed a SCADA network and components to meet standard specifications from the interconnection agreement and owner specifications for Solar Plants. • Established specifications and Scope of Work (SOW) for vendors and consultants to design and procure SCADA and communication systems for Solar Plants. • Developed relay settings for various SEL relays such as SEL-651, SEL-735, SEL-751, etc. • Provided technical support to commissioning and O&M teams. • Review and approve electrical subcontractor submittals to make sure they meet design requirements and engineering standards.
