Delivering integrated equipment planning and operational readiness for the Burnaby Hospital Redevelopment program, supporting expanded patient care capacity, clinical workflow modernization, and long-term service sustainability across multiple redevelopment phases.Lead the planning, procurement, design integration, installation, and commissioning of clinical equipment portfolios for a multi-phase, multi-year hospital redevelopment program. Work closely with clinical leadership, architects, engineers, biomedical teams, procurement, IT/IMIT, and construction partners to ensure equipment solutions align with operational needs and future service delivery models.Key Responsibilities & Achievements:Direct equipment planning and delivery across both Phase 1 and Phase 2, supporting acute care, perioperative, diagnostic imaging, and clinical support service upgrades.Facilitate multidisciplinary design integration workshops to align clinical workflows, equipment requirements, infrastructure provisions, and operational needs.Lead specifications development, procurement strategies, tender evaluations, and vendor coordination in alignment with capital funding and FHA procurement policy.Manage budget forecasting, tracking, procurement schedules, change records, and delivery risk mitigation across complex construction and activation timelines.Oversee installation sequencing, site readiness reviews, commissioning support, and transition-to-operations planning.Support project sponsor and clinical leadership decision-making through structured communication, traceable documentation, and scenario evaluation.Mentor junior planners and PMs, developing team capacity in stakeholder engagement and technical coordination.Conduct QA/QC reviews on drawings, submittals, cut sheets, technical integration plans, and infrastructure fit validation.
