I am a restorative energy justice practitioner with over 10 years of progressive experience in the field of clean energy and climate justice Here is a sample of my relevant experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in Clean Energy, Clean Transportation, and Climate Justice, including work on energy justice LMI & Black and Indigenous communities in USA, Canada & Sweden. Grant-making: Biofuel and clean energy research attracting over in grant funding, and executing on grant deliverables valued over $3.5M. Funder Engagement: Reported on climate and economic justice funding and deliverables and developed US-based energy equity frameworks to shift philanthropic practices and increase giving to those on the frontlines of injustice. Cultivator of Clean Energy Networks: Organized more than 15 networking projects during a 3-year period with attendance ranging from 15 to more than 500 persons, from lunch seminars to conferences where I supported and coordinated logistics, marketing, speakers and event contents. Founder of a nonprofit specializing in Restorative Energy Justice. Guiding thought leadership for environmental and climate justice advocates by designing frameworks for measuring equity across energy efficiency and clean energy programs among utilities, state regulatory agencies, and other practitioners while engaging and centering BIPOC and frontline communities. Ph.D in Biofuel Combustion, 15 international peer-reviewed publications, 10 conference presentations. Biofuel and clean energy research attracting over in grant funding. In the past 5 years, I have worked on unearthing and exploring the deep connections between colonialism, capitalism, and climate change and how to create transformative solutions that are grounded in belonging.
