Enhanced legacy codes and maintaining client’s ERP that have several modules, such as Order Management, Pricing, Supply Chains, Returns, Finance, EDI, Customer Systems, and Sales Reporting. VISTA is a complex system which is developed on mainframe OS 390 using NATURAL and COBOL languages and DBMS databases and interfaces with several applications on different platforms using the middleware like MQ series, RJE, FTP, EDI and CICS.Roles & Responsibilities:Extensive experience with effort estimation, technical design, use case identification and documentation, Unit testing, integration testing etc.Owned responsibility to Develop, Maintain and Test configuration updates while comprising the codes with SDLC & STLC including Agile methodology.Upgraded the Batch process programs while using PROC and PARM utilities to reduce manual workforce and balanced or maintained the virtual storage by using VSAMs and GDGs.Repaired legacy codes (COBOL & NATURAL), CICS (Online screens) and scripts (JCL) for bug fixing and documenting the process to increase efficiency. Enhanced the Codes and process as per business requirements, documenting procedures and troubleshooting procedures related to systems/software/functionality.Develop, test (check for compatibility issues, conducts QA) and deploy systems requirements, project meetings, client’s needs and specifications.Provide technical support to user and L2 & L1 team for troubleshooting problems related to Application performance, issues and enhancements.
