With nearly 20 years of experience as a professional communicator, I have helped companies of all sizes effectively engage with their key stakeholders. From designing a model to measure communications effectiveness alongside employee engagement to developing strategic growth plans, there are always unique opportunities for transformative communications.I wake up every day feeling grateful to support brilliant leaders at Small Potatoes Communications, my agency focused on enhancing leadership with effective communications. One of my key strengths is to transform vision into reality. Or as I always like to say: “making it make sense.” I started my career as an in-house communications specialist after receiving my master’s degree in Communication Studies from Eastern Illinois University. From there, I navigated through multiple corporate functions at global organizations – marketing, investor relations and human resources – all while growing my strategy and leadership capabilities. In addition to my professional experience, I have a passion for travel, cooking and creating beautiful memories with my husband and children. I’m always down for procedural crime dramas, game nights with friends, the Smartless podcast and obsessively comparing my Wordle score to the national average. I believe that the key to a company’s success is building a culture of inclusivity and respect, where all employees, including the c-suite, are celebrated for bringing their authentic selves to work.
