I lead Engineering and Data Science at Markup AI, co-steering product direction with my product counterpart to ensure we build the right things, in the right order, for commercial impact.My scope spans AI Engineering, Data Science, core engine development, and customer-facing platform delivery — from concept and architecture through evaluation, release, and scale. I drive Markup AI\'s agentic product development: designing multi-step AI systems that reason, act, and adapt across complex workflows. My teams ship production AI across agent orchestration, model training and fine-tuning, model routing and serving, evals, data pipelines, API reliability, Chrome integrations, and user-facing features.I set the operating bar for quality, latency, cost, safety, and observability, and drive disciplined execution around SLOs, release standards, and incident response.On the business side, I partner with Product, GTM, and Customer teams to identify high-value opportunities, translate them into a focused roadmap, and deliver agentic capabilities that move adoption, retention, and expansion. I own AI unit economics, hiring, org design, and execution cadence across multiple teams.In practice, my role lives at the seam of strategy and execution: co-shaping product bets, pushing the frontier on agentic architectures and model performance, creating leverage through platform design, and ensuring every technical decision maps to a measurable business outcome.
