Playing a crucial role in the emergency response team, participating in drills and aiding in control room during emergencies and plant distributions. Overseeing TAR (Turnaround) planning and executing, including undertaking DFPV (drain, flush, purge, vent) planning and applying, ICC (Isolation), creating and implementing to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity. Managing the platform\'s flange management system, ensuring accurate maintenance and updates to prevent hydrocarbon releases and maintain safety protocols. Leveraged experience in both control room and outside operator roles to optimise production plant efficiency. Using ABB ICCS system, ensuring the duty holder maximises business returns. Mentoring an OPITO apprentice, providing personalised guidance and support for their professional development. Using excellent interpersonal skills underpinned with strong verbal and written communications capability. Assuming responsibility for completing tasks and troubleshooting whilst maintaining an excellent Health & Safety awareness and understanding. Building strong relationships, teamwork, proactive engagement and influencing skills and championing effective information sharing to achieve exceptional outcomes Identifying and implementing improvements in task efficiency. Working in a fast-paced high-pressure environment with the ability to consistently meet deadlines with the highest quality whether working solo or as part of a team. A highly motivated, safety conscious team member with over 14 years multi-discipline experience in the oil and gas industry both onshore and offshore. 7 years spent as a construction engineer working on both brownfield and greenfield projects in the UK/North Sea, Europe, and Africa. 7 years working in operations as a production technician / control room operator, having completed a Stage 3 OPITO Certificate in Petroleum Processing Technology. With a thirst for knowledge and dedication to learning, I am continuously looking to develop my knowledge and experience. Currently studying for a SVQ in Processing Operations: Hydrocarbons (Control Room) at SCQF level 7.
