About Myra Herrington
Group Director of the InfoSec Business Engagement team. I have been an associate at Walmart for over 26+ years. During my Walmart career, I held positions in Merchandising, Corporate Compliance but in 2007 I began an exciting career in Cybersecurity. I have had many responsibilities in the Information Security department, but the latest includes leading the InfoSec Business Engagement Team which has responsibility for the Project Management Office, portfolio delivery, service management, budgeting and spend, and training and awareness for the global InfoSec organization. I hold multiple certifications which includes the GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC), GIAC Strategy, Policy and Leadership (GSTRT), Six Sigma Black Belt, and Archer Certified Developer. I am most known for the ability to implement new or streamlined processes, work collaboratively across multiple domains, and development of people. My four main principles include: 1) Be authentic in all situations 2) Make a difference 3) Never stop learning 4) Always treat people with respect. I am actively engaged in my community and the development of youth through church. and work sponsored programs.
