   For this position I am responsible for forecasting costs for potential field projects and working closely with Conceptual Estimators (Level I & Level II) to hone and further develop their estimating skills. I provide low voltage systems knowledge, detail and pricing to all of our conceptual estimates. To provide this pricing, I must assist in maintaining a database and evaluate upcoming projects for quality historical cost data. I work with PreCon managers and Project managers on both the systems and electrical side to ensure the overall project cost makes sense. I learn and work with Blue-beam software or other automated takeoff software. I review and finalize all conceptual bids to make sure each one is accurate and complete. This type of estimating gives me the opportunity to determine appropriate low voltage systems for each type of facility before the project is actually out on the street for bidding. It is exciting to be on this team at Faith.
