My style is direct and compassionate.My approach aims to meet the unique set of concerns a person brings to treatment. Because of my extensive background in the liberal arts, I\'ve had the opportunity to work with many artists, writers, and teachers. In practice, I incorporate, when appropriate, the fine arts and humanities to develop personal narratives and enlarge meaning.I received my Doctorate in the Humanities from The City University of New York. I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Maine and co-owner of New England Counseling, located in the heart of the Old Port in Portland.
