Mainly supporting 3 teams: • (UberX Share/Uber Pool): the product is poised to become \"our newest billion-dollar gross bookings product in the coming quarters”. By matching riders headed in the same direction, the team is working on making ride-hailing less expensive and cities more livable. • /: this is a group of of Machine Learning Engineers devising the core algorithms that matches riders requesting a ride with the best possible drivers. The goal is to maximize network efficiency and driver hours utilization through state of the art ML and optimization techniques. • : this team focuses on increasing funnel conversions and making better matches by effectively capturing the user’s intent into the matching decisions; and supports products such as UberX Priority, Wait & Save, Upsell Offer Framework, etc.~25 engineers (backend, experience, MLE) and EM/TLMs make up the org.
